Nursing Education and Training Australia (NETA) is a pioneering provider of Outcome Based Assessment (OBA) Preparation Classes to all Internationally Qualified Nurses (IQNs). NETA remains the leading provider of the NCLEX and OSCE preparatory program with the highest passing percentage in Australia.
Trading previously as Helpdesk Australia, NETA has over 10 years of experience in nurturing the development of nurses. This is equally valuable to the experience of NETA's AU trained RNs with over 10-20 years of nursing experience. NETA continues to thrive in developing the knowledge, skills, and attributes of our future health leaders.
In March 2020, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) together with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) implemented a new consistent and permanent approach for all IQNs who are seeking registration and employment in Australia. The OBA is divided into 2 components, NCLEX (theoretical component) and OSCE (practical component). More information is available in the NMBA’s website.
NETA has developed a preparation program for both NCLEX and OSCE according to the test plans of the exam providers. The programs designed by NETA are proven to be successful to its current students evidenced by NETA’s passing rate and candidates moving forward to achieve their nursing goals.
NETA ensures that IQNs receive the best of the preparation through a flexible yet effective study plan, a solid orientation, interactive and psychologically safe coaching classes, evaluation of progress, NETA designed course materials, reliable mock tests and case scenarios, comprehensive final coaching, polishing sessions, debriefing sessions for candidates, fully supported program, and continued assistance after nursing registration.
Support continues after nursing registration. NETA has partnered with reliable and trusted industries that offers employment and sponsorship opportunities during the 1st year RN.. NETA understands that adjusting to a new country, with new cultures and practices, new job and new people can be challenging. Nurses will be guided through the transition process while the new Australian trained RNs are consolidating, developing their learning and skills. NETA’s team of highly qualified and experienced Nurse Educators will demonstrate their expertise in guiding nurses in transition to settle smoothly in their work places.
NETA also provides ongoing clinical and professional development for RNs. Part of AHPRA’s requirement in keeping a RN’s registration current is through a continuing professional development (CPD). NETA organises education days that will help meet the RNs capability to practice as part of the NMBA’s RN Standards.
